Raising awareness with every lap

Is it AK or OK? is a national public education campaign, sponsored by Graceway Pharmaceuticals, to raise awareness of actinic keratosis (AK) – a potential early warning sign of skin cancer – as well as the long-term consequences of accumulated sun damage. It is estimated that 10 million Americans have AK, yet many people have never heard of this skin disease. AKs are flat, scaly patches on sun-exposed skin and are the condition most commonly treated by dermatologists.
